Winslow House made it to the end of Term 1, it was a much lighter feeling in the house this weekend. Saturday activities were enjoyed by many. The common room smelled of delicious cookies for most of Saturday afternoon. We ended the weekend with a community day, participating in the second House Games of the year. Boarders played soccer and Pictionary.
Earlier this week we had a lovely visit from the director and founder of the organization, Hope For Youth Uganda. Winslow puts on an annual fundraiser to support two children in Uganda, and it was so lovely to learn more about all the programs this organization runs for the youth in Uganda.
Winslow welcomed a new boarder this week and two new houseparents.
The House is beginning to look spooky as the preparations for Halloween begin!
